Installing 4th gen power seat.
I just got some 4th gen seats out of a 99 camaro. leather and dark grey. How do i hook up the power seat on the driver side? I know i have to run a constant power to soemthere in the car and the ground. but where do i run the power constant?
I just cut the connector out of the donor car, and wired it to my existing harness. Many cars without power seats had the wires under the carpet for them.
If not, just wire directly to a battery hot (in fusebox would be good) using an inline 20amp fuse, and then ground to the body. Should work fine.

I wired directly into the cigarette lighter with a T connector available at any radio shack. I ran the wire under the center console under the carpet to the bolt holes and than connected to the harness on the seats. If you don't have the original harness im not to sure what you can do. Never had that problem
