A/C comp won't kick

I have a 88 V6 and a 89 305 TBI both have A/C . neither one of the compressors
will kick on. If you jump them they will. On both the signal is good at the heater ctr panel. Anybody seen this B4?

Well my A/C is acting up on m 92. It blew a hole in the condensor, so I just converted to 134 and now it does not want to work. I think I need to add some more 134 though...

Anyway the pressure switch may be bad. If it does not read pressure it wont stay on.

There is a low pressure cut out switch on the accumulator & if the system is low on freon, the compressor will not run.
