ok seriously why is it pegged, its been like that since i bought the car, but once in a while it will read the temp, and i mean like once in every 6-8 months. and then it just reads like 240-260 what is wrong. thanks.

Have you tried changing the sender in the driver side head?

or check to see if the green wire is grounding on the manafold or some where else.

You have to buy the temp sensor they sell at the dealerships. Mechanic told me that all others are junk.

In return for this tip, you must trade cars with me.
