No start problem!!
I have a 2.5 liter with a no start problem. It was running and then I jiggled the coil wires and it died. The coil is getting power the coil is good the module is good and the pickup is good. I have tried different coils and tested the module many times. Still nothing. I am getting no spark from the coil. The wires look ok. Does any one know what the valus of each of the four wires. What should they read when the ignition is on. Could it be the ECM??? Need help on this P.O.S.
This happend to me once on a back road... it took me hours in the hot sun to figure it out. maybe you have the same problem.... It seemed like everything was working ... wires ok, had spark from coil, distributor was ok.... but what was hard to tell was there was a hole in the rotor. just big enough for the electricity to go through. if you held it up to light you couldn't see through it but under magnification you could see the start of the hole, and a little black dust around it. Try and look for something like this ... or try it at night and ya might see a spark someplace.
