Vent air speed switch?
Vent air speed switch?
Here is the problem, I have recently replaced my fan motor that powers the vents inside the car, it was working fine, blowing air really well, but now it only works on one speed, the second out of the four settings. Could it possibly be the switch, all that I know it worked fine when I got to work and didn't when I let later, span of maybe 3-4 hours at the most. When you turn it to a different speed it is like turning off the a/c or whatever it just works on the one speed.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

there is a 4 prong plug (i think it is four) next to the blower motor. it is plugged in facing down at the ground with two small bolts holding it in. it is a variable resistor. i would be willing to bet that is most likely the problem. is is a relativly cheap fix too. just just goto or call parts store and tell them you need a blower motor resistor for ______ car. and take yours in to match it up. or go straight to dealer. either way it is a ten minute fix
