Is there a difference between the way the wiring harness connects to the 85-86 style dist. as opposed to the 87+ dist?

I've got a 86 wiring harness trying to be fitted on to a 91 dist.

Haven't went through the trouble yet of trying to wire it up, just curious if I should go ahead and start looking for a 86 dist?

 

Same wires, just different plugs. Should even be the same colors.. All you should have to do is splice on the right connectors. There's a seperate little two wire lead that goes to the remote coil that you'll have to find/buy/make/beg/borrow/steal as well, since the earlier styles had the coil integrated with the cap.
