Manual fan switch

How easy is it to wire a fan switch in so I can turn on my fan whenever I want?

Also, from reading some of the other posts it seems like a lot of cars have dual electric fans whereas I've only got a single. Is this normal? Also, my car is displaying the same symptoms as a few of the others: at speed, it's below 160 degrees, but stop at a light, and watch the needle climb into the red. Is this something as simple as replacing the sensor? If so, where is it located? Thanks guys

It's easy. I've seen this question so many times I think someone needs to do a tech article on it. I have a single fan too. I just tapped into the power wire going directly into the back of the fan motor. Hook up a switch to 12 volts and wire it to the back of the fan. If I get a chance I can post pictures.
