Ok i got a new accel hei dist. with vac andvance. I hook everything up and go to start when smoke come from the cap. when i look to see what whent wrong the middle wire was fried and the sheathing melted. The metal prongs in the cap were touching and shorted ot the wire. So do i now have to buy a another dist or can i replace the wires and teh black thing they are connected to? Oh the model number is 9107 i think from jegs.
