I was fooling around trying to find a wire that was hot only when the car was on and I bridged two contacts on the power window plug, heard a snap, and thought I blew a fuse. But as I searched the forum for this topic, I read that they're controlled by circuit breakers?? So after a little while when they cool off, the windows will begin to work again? Can anybody help me out here... the windows are stuck down now... what I don't understand is why both don't work when there are two circuit breakers and I only bridged one of the connectors.

 

There should be a relay in your fuse box for the windows try replacing that.
