car won't start

Last week I was getting in my 89 L98 GTA to go to work. I got in and cranked the car like normal, except nothing happened when I hit the ignition. The dash lights and gauges came on, and the fuel pump came on, but that was it. I have put a new starter in, and a new switch on the column. I'm starting to think that it's an electrical problem. Can anyone tell me why my car won't start? Thanks in advance.

if you have fuel than you have to see if you have spark. if not than its probably the computer not telling the coil to spark. in that case probably crank position sensor. if it is sparking and you have fuel than it has to be timing. timing can be affected by vacuum problem to the map and some other sensors(that just happened to me in my truck)

If it's cranking over but not fireing then it sounds like an ignition module under the cap thats bad, check for a spark with your timing light or test plug.
