headlights shorting everything out
I have a major problem I was driving home last night when all of a sudden my headligts shorted out well actually I had headlights they were really dim and so was everything else and the car wouldn't run but when I had the lights off the car ran fine. I need your help quick please and thanks in advance. By the way I have a 1987 firebird 2.8 MPFI

Did you check the wiring at the circuit box at the firewall, above and near the clutch (or where the clutch would be if you had a manual tranny)?
