I have not been able to locate an electonic spark control module anywhere. everytime i go somewhere and ask for one they always show me the wrong thing. I am talking about the flat, black, kind of square module that is on the firewall behind the 3 relays on the drivers side. It has 5 pins on the left side of it...anyone know what I am talking about? Anyone know where to get one??? part number????

 

I have an 89 Firebird Formula 350 and was able to get a new ESC module at AutoZone. If I'm recalling correctly, it was like $50.

 

The dealer sells one for $95, part #16128261. Couldn't fine one cheaper at any local parts stores.

I couldn't remember the price for sure. How much was it just so everyone knows. Also, was it in stock, or did you have to have them get it for you?

 

it was like 61.99 plus tax and all that..it was in stock at the store i went to but they only had one and it took a long time for them to find it, but they eventually did. you can go to autozone.com and it will tell you if they have what you are looking for and what stores got it...anyway i hooked it up and the car seems to be driving back to where it should be...just gotta get the tps now..peace
