What I get for not keeping it simple

Q.How long does it take Maxwell to change a lightbulb?
A. About 3-4 hours total.

The front and side turn signals went out yesterday on the driver's side of my car. The blinker wasn't making it's tick, so I figure "Oh, okay. Burnt out bulbs." Replaced the bulbs - they lit up solid and wouldn't flash.

...Ah hell... Maybe I caused I short when I sprayed off the engine with a pressure hose.

So I woke up today at 6:30am, pulled out the haynes manual, disassembled the interior around the steering column and got to work looking for a short along the cables to the signal.

Friend of mine pointed out during my early morning beer break that he'd try inserting the bulb with a 180 rotation first, to see if it makes contact.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.......
