my car has a problem with the wipers. I cant get them adjusted right for some odd reason. the two little bolts that are on the rod to adjust the length of the swipe I have to let loose to make up for the lack of adjustment. if I adjust it so that when they are parked they sit right they wipe clear off the window, and if I adjust it where the longest point of the swipe is at the edge of the window it smacks the cowl hard and then wont come back up. its almost like the arm that is on the motor itself it to long and causing the swip range to be too long. I would really like any help that can be offered with this because its driving me nuts that something so simple is beating me like this.

 

Is there anyone who can help me out here? This thing has me stumped and its annoying as hell in the rain.
