nice to meet some 3rd g people well heres my problem 85 28 heavily customized 500hp sbc carbed, 700r4 ,moser 12 bolt4.3 full sssm kit. this car was a tuned port 305. after swapping in the 400 i have a problem with my head lights. the low beams are normaly ok but when i put on the highs it kills all the lights in dash to. when the motor was out i stripped the engine comp. an had it painted an cleaned up the wiring harness an all the grounds. 1 from - term to fender and to block. 1 from block/tranny to fire wall an checked them. today i took apart the dash to remove the switch was told it had a thermal breaker on it. funny thing is after removing the switch i tested the harness with a volt meter, half the terminals were dead or had like 6 volts. my tranny is out of the car right nowso i put the fire wall ground to the block an put the switch back in now i have no head lights at all. any body got a clue?
