Suggestions for quick release connections?
I am looking for electrical connections the I can easily come apart if I remove the engine or something. I am tired of clipping wires and re-soldering them. I used a trailer hitch connection on one thing but I want something smaller. Thanks

kinda looking for a single connector with 3 or 4 wires. maybe a weather pack? where can I get these?
what you can try is the MOLEX connectors for wires in your computer. if you open it up, they're the whitish/clear clips and you can get them at radio **** too. they come in lots of diff wire #'s, clip together, and don't melt even when they're sitting right on a hot graphics card. good luck and tell us how it goes.
desktop computer connectors are not going to be weather tight. connectors ordered over the counter from general motors often don't have any pins or wires inside.
easiest solution is probably to go to the local salvage yard and grab some weatherpack connectors and short length of wire off one of the wrecked cars. try to find a yard that specializes in recent cars, older cars like thirdgens usually have old and brittle connectors. engine heat does a number on plastic over the years.

Pep Boys stocks the WeatherPak connectors. That is what I would use.
