Hooking up Power to AutoMeter Fuel Press Gauge
I need a 12v power source fro the sending unit of the fuel press gauge.
The instructions say "Preferred elec. connection is direct to battery source protected by a 1 amp fuse and switch".
I'm thinking the "1 amp " must be a typo as the stock gauges are protected by a 10 amp fuse. It also appears that the ignition accessory terminal is protected by a 10 amp fuse.
Any experience on this is appreciated.

no thats not a typo, 1 amp is all you need, you can get your power off of the distrobution block next to the radiator filler or if your inside your car, tap into the wires behind the cigorate lighter or a power sorce for your radio or the power source for the dome light.
