Takes Long To Start Car When Cold Or Sitin For A While ?
its been doing it for a while hard to cold start and when u leave it sit for a while it will take more time than it should to start.
i just gave it a complete tune up accel 300+ race wires, ac rapid fires and new cap and rotor brass tipped.
so what can the problem be ? do i need a new coil ? i was thinkig of buying the accel super hei coil see if it help cause i can get it cheap and anything eles helpful that u can think of
thanks

Sound like your fuel pump relay is bad, or the connector is dirty to the relay. Fuel pump gets voltage from 2 sources, the relay and the oil pressure switch. When a TG takes time to start it is usually because the relay is not priming the fuel rail, it is waiting to get enough oil press from the cranking. 5psi is all it needs to close the oil press switch. When you first turn on the key if system pressure is low you should hear the pump come on for 2 seconds then shut off-that is the priming function. Many time it's simply the connector that gets dirty, hit it with some contact cleaner or WD-40 and give it a try.
