MAF sensor
MAF sensor
Just the other day my 85 Firebird stared to idle real low at stops.. (actually stalled a few times) had a diagnostic run on it and came up with code for MAF sensor. replaced that but it is still running rough at low rpm's. If I disconnect it it runs better. Troubleshot using a GMC manual and it returned me to the MAF sensor. Swapped out another and so far it seems a little better. But am waiting on the check engine icon to flick on any time know... Any suggestions. I checked the wire and connector.. OHM'd them all out and it all checks OK
any help would be appreciated

Better change the MAF relays (burnoff and power) ($9.99 a peice, same part # i think it was MR-44 not for sure though) if one of the relays is bad it will keep burning out the MASS AIR SENSOR.... i burnt 2 on my car so i know....... stupid F*C*ing beechmont towing didnt diagnose the problem right....
Thanks for all the help. i beleive the problem is fixed. Embarrased to say it was a crack in my PCV hose that ran behind the engine. still a little low rpm at stops but much better.. Thanks Again
