car won't start

car won't start

Own a 89 gta when i try to start it the thing won't start ,it won't crank the security light stays on .Once every two or three days the thing starts.When it won't start theres no power to the starter or the injectors had that checked .
Need some advice .

It sounds like the VATS system, but I don't have any real experience with it. There are a lot of other posts about it.

Car: 92'Camaro RS
Engine: a loud one
Transmission: bolted to the engine
If it is a vats problem try cleaning the pellet on the key.
