Excessive draw from lights

When my car kicks down at a light (from 1000rmp to 750) my voltage drops down to about 9 or 10. (It is enough engauge my radio auto off) What would cause this or where should I start looking. Any ideas would be great. My battery and alt are new, and it did this before I changed them anyway. Thanks!

you can start by changing your ground wire from your battery and your power wire and make sure you have a good ground to your engine and your cars chassis hope that helps
