Wiring in 89 RS
Well recently I've swapped an lt1 in my car but I'm trying to figure something out for my fuel pump. What color code GM use for wire witch are giving 12 volt when the engine is running, not the ignition, just when the engine is running. I'm thinking about "Bright Yellow" but I want to make sure .
Also How does a rear defroster switch is working, 4 prong but what's the pins layout
thanks

next mods:

new paint (wet look blue)

The ECM supplies the +12v to the relay for it to close the contact only when the car is running, it's a green/white wire. The main constant +12v is a thicker orange wire going into the relay straight(fused) from the battery.
Rear defrost goes as follows

(you will probably need to copy & paste that in your broswer link bar)

I'm not to sure man since it's not really a switch switch like the one for driving lights.
I'd suppose you could take it apart & replace a resistor or something in the timer control but that's a little out of my league.
