I'm taking the BBC out of my '87 GTA and installing a turbo buick (GN) motor in it's place. I've been using the stock tach for the "stealth" factor and I'd like to continue to do so.

Is there a way to recalibrate my stock V8 tach to work with the 6cyl? Is there a gauge cluster from a 6cyl car that looks like the GTA dash and has the high mph speedo in it?

If I'm not mistaken.. and I may very well be.. all the bird clusters had the same print (that grid/graph paper design) on the gauge face.. GTA or not. Just swap out a v6 bird tach for your v8. The v6 cars usually had a slightly higher redline over v8's (excluding 305 5speed tpi's) as well I believe. Don't quote me on any of that tho..
