Smog Control Removal

Does anyone know of any wiring considerations that need to be done when removing the smog equipment? I have an 88 IROC that I'd like to remove the pump, EGR and other smog stuff off of. Do I need to short any wires together or anything to keep the computer happy?

Take a pair of snips to the wires and call it a day... the ECM only switches the emission stuff off or on (by grounding it)... it doesn't check to see if it's actually there or not.
