changing headlights

i am wanting to change my headlights in my 89 RS to the "cool blue" sylvania lights and i was wondering if i was going to have to run new wiring or anything like that or if the factory setup would provide enough juice. thanks

Nope.. just swap them out as if you were putting in new headlights. I have them in my camaro and love the whiter light (especially on rainy nights since my night vision sux bad)

I thought about getting them, but I don't want to spend $40 on a set. Maybe when I have some extra cash!

Yeah I've got some in my 92 camaro and they work great. Alot of difference, not that yellow color anymore.

I bought my at a local auto parts store. You just install the same as regular lights.

I would recommend getting a sealed beam conversion kit. I got one and it converted the old H4656 low beams into H4 lights on my car. I have found a couple on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...item=1862277190

i got and installed the lights. i like them quite a bit, a lot more light. i got them at kragen for $15 each and they are the sealed beam type. i also bought a "diamond blue" foglamp kit for $70 and installed that and those fog lights put out more light than my old low beams, its amazing. i can see sooooo much better

I hear that Sylvania now makes a xenon HID conversion kit for the normal halogens. I think it costs like $450 for the pair. Sylvania also now has a new lamp that's supposedly brighter than the cool blues as well.
