89 Formula #1 Plug on Distributor

My Formula will not start after I replaced the Cap and Rotor. It was suggested that I may have crossed a couple of wires. I know that the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 but I am not sure where the #1 spark plug wire should go on the distributor. Could someone please help me with this?

Thanks.

Turn the crankshaft until the timing mark is @ zero degrees. The rotor will be pointing @ 1 or 6 on the distributor. From the factory, 1 is usually near the front driver's side of the distributor.
