Brake fuse blowing...

What would make a brake fuse blow?
Also what i'm thinking is since i'm parting out my iroc, i can take the entire harness out from the iroc and use it in the gta. I dont see any shorts anywhere so i figure i'll jsut avoid the whole problem
Does the harness have some kind of quick-disconnect by the fuse box? Also how is it routed thru the car?

I have no idea about the brake fuse but I can tell about my experience with replacing a v6 firebird wiring harness.

It's far from a simple solution. You gotta take out your dash, console, backseats, drivers sail panel (pass side too if your using the harness's speaker wires).

There are two small screws on the engine harness where it goes through the fire wall and then it's clipped in there sorta. The tail light harness is probably different on your GTA. All the options on the cars must match. (i.e. I had to custum wire a hatch poper cause the new harness had a power hatch and I couldn't upgrade to a power hatch cause the welding is different).

On my car it had three pieces; engine, dash and powerwindows/locks.

Don't do it! GTA's and Iroc's are awesome cars, usually optioned well with all kinds of unique exotic devices and you will be doing alot of customizing. If you don't want to find the short then you don't want to change the harness.

In my case I had to, to use a newer MPFI engine. And I wanted power windows and locks (I'll just say that little upgrade was whole lot of fun)
