cut old alarm/stereo wires, now car won't start, please help??????
hi, on my new camaro that i'm working on, i bought at an auction, it was a repo. besides the top being cut he just ripped out his whole stereo system and alarm with wires everywhere. you can tell he had his alarm hooked up to his windows too like putting them up and down with his remote, so the windows don't work either. so i took all the non factory wires like from the alarm and system out so i can start from factory and get my windows hooked up the right way again and now my car doesn't start. the lights and locks and all the acc works. i do see from what i can remember 2 yellow factory wires that were connected to the alarm that goes up to the steering column with the rest of the factory wires that i had to disconnect from the alarm. could or does this have anything to do with it starting? anyone know what these wires could be? help would GREATLY be appriciated, and need bad. thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
i know this is gonna sound stupid, but obviously i know nothing about the electronics, but where do i connect them to? each other? the fuse box? thank you for your reply too.

No problem, this time last year, I didn't know a damn thing about anything with wires. That was before I took everything apart and put in a stereo and my alarm. ANYWHO, those wires need to be re-attached to each other. Just get yourself a butt connector and some wire crimpers. Strip the insulation on the ends of both wires, insert them in the connector, and squeeze the hell out of it with the crimpers. If you're handy with a soldering gun, you can go about it that way. Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Um, disconnect the battery before you splice those wires, they HURT when their current goes thru you.

My friend cut the remote wire behind my stock stereo and now my radio won't even turn on. Ik it shuts down because it thinks its being stolen so how do I get it to turn back on?
