i bought my new 91' Z28 off of my buddy and he had put blue neons under it, great install can't see the bulbs at ALL. but the only problem is he had trouble with it before he sold the car to me. Now didn't buy the car for the neons so it hadn't bothered me, but i tried to see what the "problem" he has with them was. When you flick the switch, the neons give a flash, but they don't stay lit. if you try flicking it fast, they don't even flash. If you turn it on, it flashes, turn it off and wait a few seconds, then turn it back on it flashes, but the damn things won't stay on. I tried changing the fuse and it still does the same thing... any thoughts? it's a Street Glow kit.

 

Check to make sure there is power at the neons after you flip the switch on.
Sounds like there is either a loose connection, or the neons are just dead.
