Hey, I swapped my guage cluster on my 87 bird with another cluster from another 87 bird. The only guages i had before were speedo and fuel guages. Everything on the new one works except the speedo because it's an electronic speedo and mine had a cable driven one, is there ANY way to make this electric one work in my car??? PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE!!!

Why does your 87 firebird have a cable speedo? They went to electronic speedo in 86.

Ir must have been later. Bret's 88 GTA has a cable driven speedo. I was told they switched over in 87 with the exception of the GTA's which continued with cable driven into 88.
