HELP, no radio, door locks, ect.

OK, heres what happened I had a leak in my heater core and so I took it out of my cooling system and there was a couple of wires attached to the fire wall that were beening held on by one of the hoses. It got melted and later in the day I droped a tool in my engine compartment and the wire shorted. I checked the fuses and changed all of them I still don't have a radio display, power locks, head lights, and interior lights. I'm not sure where to start so I was hoping that one you guys were wire expertrs and could give me hand in where to start. My car is a 1988 RS camaro that came with a v6 but I put a v8 in it and the wiring was rearanged a little. any advice would be help, thanks in advance.

I would start by checking the fusible links. They are at the starter. If one is bad make shore you get a replacement of the same value…

take the wires off the start and you will see the little black pieces on the wire, thats the fusable link. just take each wire and try pulling them apart, one is bound to ripp off cause its fried. Just go to your auto store and buy another one, there easy to replace.
