Speedo going CRAZY

I just replaced my 110mph cluster with a 145mph cluster in my 92 RS. Every gauge works, except for the speedo. It just sits there until I hit about 30 and then it bounces between 35 and 0 mph. I pulled it back out and noticed the ribbon cable on the back of the speedo is a little damaged, but still in contact. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

My guess would be to get a new printed circuit. I think it is possible to order one. You don't want any printed circuits to be bent, they are very sensitive. You can go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and tell then what part you need and they can see if they carry it, they sell GM parts at low prices so check it out if you need that part.
