my 89 camero rs is having a short somewhere, can anyone help me?
Since i put a radio in there, my acc fuse blows up and it only takes one or the other, now my car is not starting and seems like the alternator is not sometimes charging, volts go to about 8. when it is hot (running for a while) it wont start up again, in the morning it starts right up. i think it has to do with the radio and acc fuse problem. car was going good until i hooked up that stereo, now it is having problems. Can anyone help, and does anyone know where to find fuse panel, dashboard, diagrams. I was also looking for pictures and locations of all the fuses and fusable links, like under the hood. Anything that would help out, thank you!

 

go through the whole setup of your radio and possibly re-install it...or atleast check it over well...if it happend after you installed it the chances are that it's in there some where

 

how many amps is your radio pulling that may also be a factor
