Car won't start after it rains

Well, as you already read, my car doesn't start after a heavy rain. It doesn't look like it is a problem with the cap, plug wires, starter, or battery because these all stay dry and the car still won't start. The car has power when the key is turned to On but when I try to start it the starter won't even click. I have this problem but usually try again 20 minutes after I'm late to school or work ( of course ) and it will start fine.

Check the wires down at the starter. They are probably loose and the water splashing up is cutting the connection. Loosen them, hit with a wire brush and retighten.

Pull the cap after it rains. If there is moisture inside it.... My mom's old hyundai had a similar problem. Two of the hold down screws were broken, so whenever it rained it would run like **** until the cap dried out.

Check your seal is there/good underneath the bonnet
Mine was gone completely, should have suspected something with water on the air cleaner!
