Have you checked the switch? The motor will not make a noise with out juice. If that is good, take off the door panel and see if there is something bent or broken. Good luck

If there is no power to the switch...check the breakers for the windows (located in or near the fuse block).

Clicking usually= stripped gears, I believe thay are plastic. Was this a brand new motor that was installed?
If it was then I bet that the felt covered guides for the window are way too tight and are stripping the gears.

yep it was a brand new motor. what would make the guides to tight? (probably the person that installed the motor?) thanks for the help

Yeah, whoever installed the new motor probably loosened the guides to slide the window up by hand to get at the motor mechinism. Then when they finished they got them too tight and that created a lot of drag on the window and stripped the gears in the motor gearbox.

You could loosen the guides for that window and see if the window will go up and down then.

Were all the mounting screws/bolts there and tight? The alignment of that motor is critical, if one of the mounts becomes loose the motor will kick off to a side and just spin away.
