TPI wiring
TPI wiring
Im doing a TPI swap on my 72 chevy truck and i want to use the wiring that i took from the firebird. I was wodering if anyone knows where i can get info on modifying the factory harness myself (what wires and connections i need/dont need). Any help would be great.

It's not as much fun as one would thing but, having wiring diagrams are essential to the swap. Knowing what wires go where is extremely helpful. At the same time, I elected to swap out the interior harness on my friends truck with one from a 85 & 86 camaro to update to a newer fuse panel and have the needed circuits prewired.
this is for an 86 camaro

it's a good starting point for getting the TPI harness sorted out
Also I have this which may/may not be of assistance...

They aren't very recent but, they're the newest I have right now and not much has changed since those have been taken due to lack of $$ & mostly time.
