This is odd...

Ok awhile back i had a wireing harness short and go up in smoke and flames on the + side of the battery. I replace all of the wireing (- the Entire + cable, it was just cut down and reused) and it ran with no problems hot or cold. Now i get up to chicago and about 2 weeks in i am now haveing problems with an occasional no start situation. It will click over, not noise from the starter or any thing, the lights do not dim and every thing else works perfectly, just not turn or vroom. Now if i wait 5-10 minutes and try again 90% of the time it will start up on the first try. The other 10% is 15 minutes later. The battery is new and i am planning on replaceing the cable now both - and + but i am wondering if there is something else to look for. Maybe and ignition modual that is dying, a loose ground. Something.

If the lights don't dim when you attempt to start the engine, your problem is more likely with the starter or starting circuit, not a power connection or ground from the battery.

Ok i figured it probably wasn't battery or wire connections because it would probably be a bit more perminent. When this happens the starter can be sitting for 8+ hours and be cold or it could happen after 5 minutes driveing. No it is not the same thing as during the summer after long periods of driveing the starter not wanting to turn, i have had that one too, this is a fair bit differant. So is it more likely to be the starter or something else?
