Rear Defroster

I searched the forum, but didn't see anything really useful :/

The car has a defroster switch in it, already, but there weren't any wires going to it.. They might have fallen off and weren't in immediate sight..

Now, the hatch has the lines going across the top, so that's all good.

I hear about people having wires on their hatch?
well the rear has the motor that pulls it down, and it's got some contact on the hatch and on the backend (I'm guessing so the third break light can connect) and i'm wondering if that's where the defroster would connect, also? A lot of people talk about having wires that seem to disconnect occasionally, but i don't see any on the hatch.

So what I am looking for is if anybody can tell me where the defroster wires would hook up to, from the switch.

would it be easy, or would it require pulling a heapload of the console out?

where in the dash the wires go, I'm not sure, but the wires to the hatch grid use the props as the connecters, positve on one side, negative on the other
