I'm getting my firebird back in good running order, after 9 months of sitting in South texas weather. Aside from needing window motors, the only elec. problem I've ran into is this. I turned on the windshield washers, and it didn't shut off right away, just kept spraying and wiping. Eventually, after manhandling the poor thing, they stopped spraying, and shut off. Also It didn't want to turn back to low beams after I turned on the highs. I had to keep forcing the lever back, and finally it switched. a few times, the lights just turned off, instead of switching. One other thing, the buzzer / tone that comes on, like when you leave the keys in the ignition cuts off periodically, kind of like a short. any ideas on where to look. Could all of these be related to a short in the high low beam lever. Do I have to worry about an airbag blowing up on me if I start taking things apart{Hey, you never know, that'd be my luck}. any help is appreciated.
