I also posted this is the Car Audio Section. I figured between both boards my questions can be answered.

OK lets set this up. I have an 89 IROC it at one point in time had the entire Delco/Bose system in it. Well when I bought this car the previous owner took it out and replaced it with a Pioneer head/cdplayer and a custom speaker box in the rear. Well he also hacked up the wiring pretty bad. So My dad and I have to figured it would be a lot easier to wire the whole thing from scratch.

Here is what I am going to put in it. A Pioneer CD player with pioneer 6x9's since the old ones were taken out. Now on the speakers in the kick panels and in the hatch area they both have amps for each speaker. These speakers are not hooked up and have had the wires cut that go to them. Does anybody know what wires go were, or maybe the schematic? I really want to hook up the kick panel speaker and the hatch speakers to there amps. I dont want to buy subs or anything else I'm not really a stereo person.

What is the schematic for the whole Delco/Bose system? Do the speakers in the dash have an amp attached to them like the ones in the kick panels and hatch? I will be buying a repair manual shortly for it when I get the money. I'm just some poor kid with an awesome car.

I'll be doing this work over the winter while the IROC is being stored so I'll have a lot of time to work on it. Thanks for the help.

 

I know Best Buy sells reverse harnesses just for things like this. It’s made to be wired into the car if someone has cut the in car harness out, colors should match up to the stock harness to. I would got the reverse harness and a harness at the same time. It will make your life E-Zer in the future this way.
