It's almost certainly the fan blower motor. They commonly go out. But fortunately, they're not too expesive (about $40). And, they're pretty easy to replace (But it's been a couple of years since I changed one). It's a little electric motor about the size of a softball on the passenger side of the firewall on the heater box assembly. Before you replace it, though, be sure and check your fuses. If the fuses are O.K., and you replace the blower motor, and it still doesn't work, the next part to replace is the fan switch in the HVAC controls in the dash. It's a little ($15) part (but they die less frequently than the motors). You will not need to replace the entire HVAC control assembly. I hope this helps!
I'm pretty sure HVAC stands for either "Heater Ventilation Air Conditioning" or "Heater Vent Air Conditioner." Depending on who you ask, they may change the endings of the "Vent" and "Air Conditioning" terms. The HVAC control is the in-dash control panel above your stereo head unit. (It took me a long time to figure out what HVAC meant too).
