Fuse for gauge burnt out

Ok my guages/rear defroster stoped working yesterday so I checked the fuse and it was blown so i replaced it then it worked. then to day i started my car and the gauges/ rear defroster don't work so i checked the fuse again and its burnt out again anyreason this keeps happening and how could i fix it ? would putting a #15 fuse in work ?? Oh yeah i haven't done any thing to the car since i put my airfoil in and that was a couple months ago.

You should never put a higher value fuse in place of a lower one.(Like I have my break lights right now). From my limited electrical knowledge most blown fuses are caused by a short to ground somwehere in the system. As for finding this, tracing the wires and looking for a bare wire is about the only was I know of fixing the problem. Hope this helps
