The camaro I saw was a Z28 so maybe it was an option for higher models?

i was always under the impression that they didn't have ABS, and i still am. BUT i have seen a few oddball pieces of literature and things on the web that says otherwise.

but, they didn't, so its all BS as far as i am concerned.

hmm..i dunno.

see, thats some of the stuff that confuses me. but, who knows.

that pedal "cover" may be one of those replacement ones that you find in teh parts stores, that is like a generic one?

also, if you go to one of the car prices websites (like edumnds, kelley blue book, etc.) and you do a '91 camaro, one of the things that they ask you is if it has ABS. just another thing that makes me think.

i just looked at the original dealer brochure for '91 Camaros, and there wasn't a single mention of ABS being available.

100% sure they never came out with ABS an any thirdgen. My 1991 Z28 has every option that was available....and it doesn't have ABS...and I have never read anything about ABS on any thirdgen.....maybe ABS came out in 1993..... when they changed the body style of the camaro/firedbird.....??

I'm sure there was a proto-type thirdgen that had ABS but I highly doubt any were sold to the public. There is no ABS and if somebody shows you a pedal have them show you the actual module that's tapped into the brake lines! Or looke for speed sensors on the front wheels, lol. It's not just about having a pedal cover. If that were the case then my stereo system isn't even an "ERS" , and my diff doesn't have a metal tag so does that mean my posi unit isn't a posi?
