Transmission: 5spd baby, only way to go

speedo cable
does anyone know how to get the speedo cable out easier then the ways outlined before?? my hands are too big to do it the way they say to do it..

If you're only replacing the inner cable, I've found it easier to remove and install from the bottom (at the transmission). If you're replacing the entire cable assembly (jacket and all) you have little choice but to remove it at both ends. Disengaging the cable sheath from the rear of the speedo head is a real treat, huh?

yeah,
all i did was take those 2 13 mm bolts off the steering column drop the column a bit take the cluster out enough to get my hand behind the dash and voila...
