electronic ignition???????
I was thinking about putting msd ignition on my car but was wondering if it was worth it and if it is what should i get cause there are soooooo many different msd stuff out there i dont know where to start there are different sizes all over so if you can please assist me

Under almost any conditions it is a waste of time and money to change the ignition. The stock system provides more than adequate spark potential and is quite reliable. If you were running points then I would say it's worth some money to upgrade, otherwise other than perception on your part there is no "bang for the buck" in changing wires or ignition.

I agree with Danno, it seems to me that the aftermarket ignition makers rely on a lot of hype in marketing their products. They would have you believe that the OEM ignition system is not up to the job.
I don't think you would find a measurable performance increase in your ride by dumping $500 into aftermarket ignition so long as your existing HEI is in decent shape.
