Car starting problems after Mods

Well, here it goes.

First off, I took the computer out of my car, ('86 z/28 LG4) then I took the LG4 out and replaced it with a carbed 350. Now everythings back together but I cant get it to turn over! We thought that the battery was just dead, but we hooked up some jumper cables and there is plenty of juice in the batt. (hooked the jumper cables to my batt and touched the other ends together and there is plenty of spark: BTW-thats not a smart idea).

BUT, not only will the motor not turn over, but the headlights and all interior lights wont work! I need to know if there was something I might haved took out when I removed the computer harness that would keep it from starting.

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

there should be several fusible links on the starter terminal, they power everything in side the car, are they all on/ok?
