I am using a 3.4 from a 95 camaro.
Ok I Put the 3.4 in the car without the tranny just to see if i could get it to start. well nothing, all it does is every once in a while it will shoot a little bule flame out the exaust. I had changed it to distributer after taking off the electronic ignition. and I am using my 2.8 intake and injectors and wiring harness. So i guess the problem might be timing or somthing with there not being a sensor that works with this 2.8 wiring harness or something. im pretty sure its actually making a spark but it wont run. so anyone who might know how to look for what the problem might be please help

well i got it to start but it wont stay on and it runs like crap
I have to keep pushing the gas to keep it on. I'm thinking that its something to do with the electrical system.
