Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket chips are worth buying. I have an 88 formula tpi auto pretty much stock? Thanks, Aaron

Beside what DIY people will say, the best aftermarket chip would be from Ed Wright for a almost stock engine.

They are a total waste of money. If you were looking at tenth's of a second maybe a little more aggressive advance would be worth having, otherwise there is little or no benefit for the buck. All they really do is make your drive more sensitive to the grade of gas you buy. Even the guy's at my local speed shop pretty much try and talk people out of using them.
