Airbag switch

...1992 Firebird, the switch behind the steering wheel that operates the airbag, it also has the little plastic cylinder w/the spring that is used as a horn contact...does anybody know what this is called or where I can get one...it's for tweetybird's car...oh yeah, also if we can't find this part, we'll just convert to no-airbag and hopefully won't have to retrofit the entire steering column...any info would be appreciated, thanks

If you're talkin about the round thing with a yellow wire attached to it, that's the coil assembly for the airbag. Dunno if they still sell it at the dealer.

I'm a little confused. Are you looking for the air bag firing coil, the horn contact insulator, or the entire assembly?

I'm not really concerned w/the airbag actually working anymore, but it would be nice. I'm more concerned w/the horn working though. Like I said though, I don't know what it's called and I can't remember if it is even part of the airbag "clock" but it is what retains the spring and small plastic switch for the horn. I've got a new airbag and new sensors...just concerned with the switch now...thanks

The parts before the spring are the cancelling cam (white plastic thing where the wire for the horn hooks up to), the shaft lock (metal piece), plastic cover, and the coil for the airbag.
