First of all, Does my 89 IROC have a cable driven or electronic guage Cluster? Second if it is cable driven where can i find an electronic Indiglo cluster? and Third how easy would it be to install, I E the details of such a swap?

 

89' is cable driven. I don't belive they are electronic until 90. Depending on your speedo type 85mph or 145 mph you can get striaght indiglo gauges at a resonable price. They are easy to install they just slip over the guages and you can glue or sticky tape them on and just hook them up to a 12V power source. Doesn't matter what kind of speedo drive you have. Ebay is the best source I have found so far. The 145 mph just started showing up in the last few days so it is more.

Thanx man. i know mine is cable driven and no i dont have to change it but i would rather have eltronic cause its smoother and more acurate. any ideas on where i can find one for an 89 IROC? it has the 145 right now.

but if i can find a electro speedo with indiglo that read something like 160 plus i would like that even better

 

Please if anyone knows where i can get a wiring harness and Guage cluster for my 89 IROC that is Electronic driven and tell me how to install it right i would really apreciate it
